Welding Courses  

We run a variety of welding courses that are tailored to individual needs, this can be anything from basic welding for beginners to advanced welding for more experienced users. We run the following type of welding courses:

• Oxy-Acetylene, Cutting, Welding and Brazing
• Safety in Gas Welding and Cutting using Oxy-Acetylene or Oxy-Propane

Electric Arc Welding

• Safety Requirements
• Use of Equipment
• Welding of all thickness and types of joint in mild steel
• Special steels, positional welding (in advance courses)

MIG Welding

• Safety Requirements
• Use of Equipment - setting up
• Welding with various thickness of mild steel
• Welding with stainless steel and aluminum (in advance courses)

Oxy-Acetylene, Cutting, Welding and Brazing

• Safety Requirements
• Use of Equipment
• Welding of various thickness of mild steel
• Welding of cast iron or aluminium

Safety in Gas Welding and Cutting using Oxy-Acetylene or Oxy-propane

• Safe practical use of equipment while cutting and Welding
• Precautions to be taken in use and while storing
• The use of fire extinguishers and related fire safety
• Hot-Work permits

Course Duration: The majority of these courses run for 1 day but can be extended as necessary.
