Our Services

We provide high quality training to members and non members, the training courses we run cover a wide range of topics from Machinery, Pesticides and Health & Safety to Management Courses.  Courses can be tailored to individual needs and can take place in the workplace if appropriate, therefore reducing costs and travelling time.

We have a wide portfolio of accredited, quality assured instructors who are industry proven. We use several accrediting bodies for our courses including Lanta Awards, NPTC, City & Guilds and BASIS.

Membership is not obligatory but there are several benefits. Membership entitles you to the following:

  • Each member is visited approximately every 18 months by the Training Officer who will carry out a Training Needs Assessment, covering all members of staff and areas of the business.
  • Newsletters are issued throughout the year, keeping members informed of legislative changes, current topical news and forthcoming training events.
  • Any funding opportunities we access will be made available to members.
  • Course costs will be at the Members Course Rate, all non members pay £20 extra per course place per day
  • Personal telephone support for training and qualification queries.

Membership Costs are as follows:

£40 + VAT per year, per business (this entitles the owner and partner to attend any course at the members course rate), plus £10 + VAT per employee per year.

So typically for a business with 2 employees the annual membership will be £60 + VAT per year.  For members with a large work force we have a different pricing policy which is as follows:

£40 + VAT per year, per business (this entitles the owner and partner to attend any course at the member's course rate).

There is no employee charge, but for each course an employee attends there will be a £5 increase on the member's course rate.
