Rabbit & Mole Control

This course provides learners with an opportunity to:

• Identify the degree and source of the infestation for rabbits and moles
• Understand Pest Biology and Ecology
• Plan, implement and monitor an effective control programme for rabbits and moles
• Understand the law and regulations relating to the control of rabbits & moles both in domestic and commercial circumstances
• Be able to select appropriate PPE when controlling pests
• Perform gassing operations using Aluminium Phosphides effectively, with due regard to humans, creatures, plants and the environment

This is a 1 day course that can be accredited by Lantra Awards or an ETA Certificate of attendance. This course can also be used to prepare experienced users of Aluminium Phosphide for the Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Aluminium Phosphide for Vertebrate Pest Control
